The Japanese Art Jewelry Exhibition is an unparalleled opportunity to take in the artists, ateliers and experienced jewelers who create work that could only be born from Japanese craftsmanship, sense of beauty, and nature. At Nihombashi Mitsukoshi this occasion also marks 110 years since our Jewelry Section was first opened. Take this chance to celebrate the here and now of Japanese jewelry from July 18th to 23rd.

While jewelry in the contemporary sense was originally a western art form, in using Japanese sensibilities and craft creators have now realized works that truly represent Japanese beauty different from their Western origins. At this exhibition the "Art Jewelry" of these creatives that combines beauty with Made in Japan craft will be displayed in conjunction with antique Western jewelry side by side.
